Requests for adminship (RfA) is the process by which the howtopedia community decides who becomes an administrator (or sysop). Administrators have access to a few technical features that help with maintenance. A user either submits their own request for adminship (a self-nomination) or is nominated by another user.
Because howtopedia is a young project, a pool of administrators has been created, refering to competencies in the field of simple / appropriate technologies and practical knowledge. Request for administrationship will be possible in the future.
